JAKARTA | Konspirasi.net – Anggota Komisi III DPR RI Arteria Dahlan memuji sikap Kapolri Jenderal Polisi Idham Azis yang mengingatkan masa pensiunnya akan habis dan meminta agar Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) segera memproses penggantinya.
“Itu merupakan salah satu perwujudan sikap Promoter (Profesional, Modern dan Terpercaya),” kata Arteria kepada wartawan di Jakarta, Rabu (6/1/2021).
Tidak hanya itu, politisi PDI Perjuangan ini melihat apa yang dilakukan Idham Azis menunjukan bahwa sosok jenderal asal Bugis itu tulus bekerja dan mengabdi kepada negara. Untuk itu, Arteria berharap sikap Idham Azis ini dapat dijadikan contoh bagi pajabat lain.
“Pak Idham sangat menunjukan sikap tulus bekerja yang hanya mengabdi kepada negara dan bangsa. Karena banyak juga yang mau pensiun malah cawe-cawe, manuver untuk minta di perpanjang,” pungkas Arteria.
Seperti diketahui, Kapolri Idham Azis secara resmi mengajukan surat pemberitahuan akan memasuki pensiun pada Februari 2021 mendatang kepada Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) pada 4 Januari 2021 lalu.
Dalam surat tersebut, orang nomor satu di Korps Bhayangkara itu tidak menyebut nama calon pengganti Kapolri. “Ya benar, Bapak Kapolri sudah ajukan surat ke Presiden yang isinya pemberitahuan kalau umur beliau sudah 58 tahun dan terhitung tanggal 1 Februari 201 memasuki purna bakti. Ini sesuai UU Polri 2/2002,” ujar Kadiv Humas Polri Irjen Pol Argo Yuwono.
Argo menjelaskan, surat pemberitahuan tersebut diberikan kepada Presiden Jokowi melalui Menteri Sekretaris Negara (Mensesneg) Pratikno. “Surat tersebut sudah diserahkan kepada Mensesneg Pratikno,” pungkasnya. (RH/Red)
